The lovely Michelle and Fred got married at The Devonshire Terrace in London and entertained their guests from the very start to the end of their day, making sure they never wanted for anything [me included] !
The day started at Michelle's parents house when Fred had to take part in 'Door Games' organised by Michelle's bridesmaids. The idea behind the games is for the Bride to be hidden from the groom & for him to succeed in the playful games before the bridesmaids allow him to go to her. So Fred had to find his inner Diva and sing 'Shake it Off' by Taylor Swift, prove his love by dancing to the same song, take part in a playful game with balloons & lastly, a marriage may go through different 'flavours' [sweet, sour, bitter, spicy] through the years, so to prove he had the ability to cope with all situations Fred had to drink or eat something of each flavour ! If the groomsmen joined in too it proved that Fred had their full support, gaining Fred bonus points with the Bridesmaids. It really was the best start to any wedding I have attended !
This was quickly followed by the traditional tea ceremony, before Fred & his groomsmen had to race over to the City to get ready for the ceremony.
The rest of the day was filled with love, laughter, dancing, lots more dancing, ice creams and speeches that made you laugh and cry all at the same time.
It was an amazing day, one which I will never forget & have also fallen in love with Marryoke ! Google it, I promise you'll want to do it at your own wedding . . . !
